Amanda Christine graduated from the College of St.Catherine with a degree in Apparel Design and a minor in Art. During her time at St. Kate’s, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Europe, gaining an appreciation for the art of fashion, and learning the history of the industry in the fashion capitals of Paris, London and Milan.
She has interned with Diana Olson, a Minneapolis couture dressmaker, where she perfected her skills in patternmaking and fit that are essential to her line and theory of design. She is currently designing garments for sale at Cliché in Minneapolis.
Her garments have been featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune and VitaMN weekly, and she has been been labeled “Favorite local fashion designer” by Minneapolis St Paul style editor, Sara Glassman.
Amanda Christine has featured her garments in Cliché’s fashion shows at LaBodega and the Varsity Theatre, as well as Vita.mn’s poolside fashion show and Still in Style. She is currently gearing up for a show to kick off MNFashion Weekend at the Suburban World Theatre in Minneapolis on Thursday, September 20th, with additional fall and spring shows to be announced.
